We made it to Spring Break!!!!  Term 2 was extremely long but we are being rewarded with two fabulous weeks off!  Hamdulla as they say here, or Praise God!

Here are some of the things we've been up to lately...

Let me introduce you to Yoshi.  We got him as a kitten a few months ago 

and he's quickly grown into a big boy.

He's such a sweet kitty that he even let's the kids play 'baby' with him.  

He loves laying in their laps.

We've also seen a couple of female rugby matches.

Here's our Scottish friend, Jenna, making a pass.  Go Jenna!

We watched a male rugby game as well...I know it's similar to American 

football but I still don't understand it.

It looks like a mix of cheerleading and football to me.

The kids enjoy rugby because of the snacks!  Thanks Ms. Bridget!!!

Mr. Griffen celebrated his 7th birthday with a party at the park.

No these cupcakes aren't sad faces, they are actually CREEPERS from Minecraft.  

The boy is absolutely obsessed with this game.  

Mark did a great job with the cupcakes but the icing melted a lot.

The park has great play equipment for kids.

The weather was a little crazy that day.  It actually rained a 

little bit on us but we enjoyed every minute of it! (We do live in the desert after all!)

It was a great party but it's hard to believe that my baby boy is 7 years old!!!

And on Griffen's birthday, Olivia lost her first tooth!
(It's 1 milestone after another with these kids...what's a Mama to do?)



So, now we're off to Sri Lanka with two other families for a week.  We're looking forward to some rest and relaxation with good friends!!!
